Two Week, (15 days) Obedience Course
$1000 plus 14 days board
Serious behavior and aggression issues are based on individual cases as may require a longer stay

Problem or aggressive dogs towards people will not be accepted for boarding under any conditions, Obedience training dogs will be assessed on a case by case basis. You will be asked to pick up your dog , your deposit will be forfeited and any payment for the time your dog has boarded will be charged for if we find your dog displays these behaviors towards us. A fee will also be incurred for the extra time taken to care for people aggressive dogs when they have been left with us and customers have not informed us of this issue and we can not contact owner to pick the dog up
Obedience Training
Our philosophy is to provide dogs and their owners with a positive lifetime experience with our training program. Our aim is to provide the highest quality dog obedience training and alleviate undesirable dog behaviors whilst giving a lifetime guarantee provided with free over the phone consultations and if required to provide free lessons at our kennels. We provide continuous support to ensure our clients are trained and skilled to continue their dog’s training platform in an effective and humane manner.
The key to our many years of success is utilising all facets of operant and classical conditioning obtained from training many breeds and dealing with the many behavior problems we have come across. This allows us to treat unwanted behaviors and also identify underlying causes that can not only improve a dog’s quality of life but the owners also. We employ highly reward based training methods via voice, food or play and in some cases all three. We build the dog’s confidence with their most valued motivator whilst conditioning the desired behavior.
We are the leaders in understanding our clients and their dog’s requirements to ensure each training session provides a result and builds on the dog’s abilities. The extensive knowledge of our trainers allows us to meet dog owner’s needs and develop their understanding and skills to build a solid platform for their dog to succeed in being obedient, confident and well mannered. It is our commitment to build a strong bond between owners and their dogs.
When your loved one is stretching out in their spacious quarters, lounging on their non-allergenic trampoline beds or just taking a moment to relax and listen to the music we play 24/7 after their training or meal or even after playing in our spacious grassed exercise area they’ll feel like they’re taking a much earned country holiday themselves!
At Whispering Pines we cater for all breeds and ages so your best freind will always feel free to play and run in the exercise area without any stress from other dogs. We do not mix dogs from other families together as our main focus is to ensure that your loved one is happy and relaxed with the neighbors they have or we will move them around to find that perfect freind.
We offer individual insulated and lined kennels with a spacious run.
Executive Indoor kennels can be booked but will incur the extra cost
Also a family kennel for more than one dog families!
All dogs are exercised in our large grassed yard
Special requirements
If your pet requires any special medication or feeding please let us know at time of booking and we will make sure the instructions are followed to the letter with only a small fee of $2.00 per administration charged.

We have been training dogs here at Whispering Pines since 1989
Why not ask to have your best friend washed in the Reverse Cycle A/C indoors kennels with a infra red heat lamp on them to ensure they stay warm while we blow dry them so they are clean and fluffy ready for home!

Your dog will stay with us for 2 weeks where they will learn basic obedience along with behavioral problems like mouthing and jumping up also dealt with.
We also socialise your best friend with our trained dogs so they only have a positive experience meeting new friends!
At the end of the 2 weeks course allow one hour for the change over as we will give you a private lesson and answer any questions you may have.

Subject: Feedback on obedience course
Dear Adrian and Leonie
I just wanted to write to say an enormous THANK YOU for the wonderful obedience training you did with our 10-month-old German Shepherd Nala.
When we brought Nala to you she was very disobedient, pulling on the lead terribly during walks, barking incessantly in our backyard, jumping up on visitors and barking madly at other dogs. We had tried a number of other training programs before coming to you with no success and were extremely stressed out trying to train and manage Nala’s behaviour.
From the day we picked her up after her two weeks of training at Whispering Pines she has been a completely different dog. She is still hugely affectionate and loving towards people but all those bad behaviours have disappeared. Three months after coming home she still walks perfectly on the lead, ignores other dogs, doesn’t bark in the yard or jump up on visitors and most importantly listens to everything we tell her to do. Sit, stay, drop are a piece of cake and our seven-year old is particularly delighted that you taught her how to shake!
The transformation is just extraordinary. Far from causing us stress, Nala is now a source of absolute joy for my husband and I and our two children and we can take her with us to so many more places and do so many more things with her than we ever thought possible.
Thank you so very much for everything you did, we will be forever grateful for your expert assistance and Nala is looking forward to coming back to visit and seeing you both soon!
